What If Classmates Mock My Faith?

This really hurts, but you're not alone. Jesus Himself said: 'If the world hates you, know that it hated me before it hated you' (John 15:18). First, being mocked doesn't mean you're wrong. Truth can make people uncomfortable. Second, don't respond with anger — try gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15). You can say, 'I understand your view, but this is important to me.' Third, remember your identity — you're a child of God, and your worth isn't determined by classmates' opinions. Fourth, find your crew — church youth group, Christian friends who will have your back. Finally, pray for those who mock you. Sometimes their mockery is actually curiosity in disguise. Your faithful, gentle witness might be their first step toward knowing God.
