当人说「我是好人」时，通常是和别人比较。但圣经的标准不是「比多数人好」，而是上帝的完美圣洁。耶稣说，甚至心里恨人就等于杀人，心里动淫念就等于犯奸淫（太5:21-28）。按这个标准，没有人是「好人」。
这不是要让人绝望，而是要让人认识到：我们需要的不是更努力，而是一位救主。好消息是，上帝不是要求我们先变好才接纳我们，而是在我们还是罪人的时候就为我们死了（罗5:8）。
救恩不是我们赚来的工资，而是上帝白白赐给的礼物。我们只需要承认自己的需要，接受这份恩典。
When people say 'I'm a good person,' they usually compare themselves to others. But the biblical standard isn't 'better than most' — it's God's perfect holiness. Jesus said even hating someone is equivalent to murder, and lustful thoughts are equivalent to adultery (Matt 5:21-28). By this standard, no one is 'good.'
This isn't meant to bring despair but recognition: we don't need to try harder — we need a Savior. The good news is that God doesn't require us to become good first; He died for us while we were still sinners (Rom 5:8).
Salvation isn't wages we earn but a gift God gives freely. We need only acknowledge our need and receive this grace.
