A Personal God vs. Impersonal Ultimate Reality

Core Argument

Buddhism (especially Theravada) denies a personal Creator God, viewing ultimate reality as impersonal (Nirvana/Sunyata). But an impersonal ultimate reality cannot explain: (1) Why personal beings exist — the impersonal cannot produce the personal; (2) Why humans have deep longings for love, justice, beauty — these point to a personal source; (3) The orderliness and intelligibility of the universe — information and design require an intelligent mind. Christianity's Trinitarian God, as relational being, perfectly explains the ultimate source of personhood, love, and relationship.
